Flowers In My Garden
Today is one of the most lovely spring days I can recall. This week the trees sprang their green buds open to the sun, the grass spurted up in huge clumps in the lawn, and the tulips, daffodils, grape hyacinth, and violets are all out making waves of color in the garden.
The lilac bushes are getting ready to bloom, the peonies are sending their red stalks up higher and higher, the roses have new leaves and buds, and the dogwood tree is ready to blossom. The magnolias, cherry, apple and plum trees around town have gorgeous pink and while blossoms that make dainty lace in the soft breeze.
The warm breeze tempts me away from the computer, to get my feet into the soft earth and to revel in the glory and beauty that Nature has so generously gifted to us here on the planet.
Although the colors and smells of Spring remind me of new life, I am also grateful for the gifts of their energetic patterns — which keep us healed and whole.
